Who is Jan Flamend?
Jan Flamend has extensive experience as sales director and as sales consultant.
After an academic career, Jan joined Mercuri International. The clients for which he has worked include Interbrew, Hewlett Packard, Zurich Insurance and Mercedes Benz.
Jan also worked for Hewlett Packard as Services & Support Sales Manager Belgium/Luxembourg and as Executive Vice-President Sales EMEA at Ubizen. Ubizen is the biggest security integrator in Europe and provides solutions to major accounts on improving e-business in eight countries.
Since 1997, Jan has been a faculty member of the Management Center Europe, where he gives Successful Selling Skills, Advanced Selling Skills and Sales Force management seminars.
Jan set up Valueselling.be in 2001 and collaborates on various international consulting projects for companies, such as ICI National Starch & Chemical, Emerson & Cuming, StorageTek, Telenet, Basell Chemicals, Cegedim, Axalto, Ceratizit, Barco, Apple Computer, Thermal Ceramics, Kühne + Nagel, Logitech, Hewlett Packard, Norgine Pharmaceuticals, Bekaert, Bausch & Lomb, Sybari Software, on improving the effectiveness of sales teams and the acumen of business people. Jan also provides intensive coaching programmes for senior executives.
