Sébastien Bellin

Who is Sébastien Bellin?
After graduating from the International School of Brussels in 1996, Sébastien Bellin received a sholarship to play NCAA division 1 basketball where he won a Horizon League championship at Oakland University. He went on to play 15 years professionally in Italy and Belgium as well as being the captain of the Belgian National Team for 5 international campaigns.
After retiring from basketball , he was part of the founding team that launched Keemotion , the world's first automated video production system. It was sold in less than three years and eventually became part of the SportRadar group.
As a survivor of the 2016 terrorist attack at the Brussels Airport, he credits his recovery to maintaining the practices of an athlete and creating a mindset of limitless potential.
The attacks left him permanently disabled but at the same time with a unique perspective on Life, discovering what it truly means to "survive". He is an active entrepreneur with current start-up ventures in the fields of IT, health , and education. He is the father of two girls, Vanessa and Cecilia and married to Sara Bellin. He splits his time between his home in Brussels, Belgium and a little lake house surrounded by nature in Battle Creek, MI.
