Who is Peter Corijn?

Peter Corijn has extensive global experience as a senior executive spanning over 35 years. He served as the CEO of Van de Velde, a publicly traded company active in premium lingerie and swimwear. Prior to that, he held multiple C-Suite positions at Imperial Brands, a top 100 FTSE company, including Global CMO, Chairman of the Operating Committee, and President of Travel Retail. He also worked at P&G as Vice President, overseeing the CEEMEA Shave Care business, which generated more than $1 billion in revenue. Peter is the Founder and CEO of VUCASTAR Consulting. Peter holds two Master’s degrees in Law and has completed several executive programs at INSEAD, IMD, Harvard/Monitor, and West Point TLDG. Peter is a recognized expert in navigating disruption, leading in a VUCA (Volatile Uncertain Complex Ambiguous) world, managing change, and developing brands. He has lectured at INSEAD, IMD, and Solvay Business School and has delivered keynote speeches for various Fortune 500 companies across the globe. Interestingly, Peter is also an accomplished musician. During his youth, he supported well-known bands such as U2, Echo & The Bunnymen, The Scabs, and TC Matic. He still releases music under the name “Paul Numi”. His last 2 albums received international airplay and generated close to 400,000 streams. Additionally, Peter is set to publish his first book on result-oriented leadership and mission success in the fall of 2023. Peter has a keen interest in the martial arts (black belt Shotokan karate & krav maga). He has undergone rigorous training programs led by former SEALs, anti-terror commandos, and SWAT teams to gain insights into their principles of mission accomplishment and ownership.
