Who is Thomas Van Eeckhout?

Thomas van Eeckhout ('85), family man and dad of 2, is all about getting and giving opportunities. With a Business Management degree in his pocket, he started his career with IT company Easi after his higher studies in 2006 as Internal Sales. It was his first job and after a tough course of study, he did not harbour any big dreams (yet). Thanks to the confidence he received from his superiors at Easi, not only his ambition increased, but also his will to grow as a person. In 2015, he joined the board of directors as Sales Director to be appointed co-Ceo together with Jean-François Herremans in 2019.

Thomas is an inspiring speaker who effortlessly bridges the gap between IT, leadership and business growth. He brings complex IT topics in an accessible way and links them to strategic insights that help companies become stronger in a digital world. His keynotes are ideal for entrepreneurs, IT professionals and executives who want to understand how to harness technology for success. Afterwards, Thomas also visits universities and colleges to teach students on various topics.

Thomas is fluent in Dutch, French and English, making it easy for him to adapt to his audience.

Thomas gave a particularly fascinating guest lecture to our students at the Faculty of Business and Economics. Not only did he tell the story of Easi and his personal career in a compelling way, but the content also finally gave our students the opportunity to link HRM theories and concepts to a concrete success story from practice. After the guest lecture, 95% of the students indicated that they found Easi a very attractive employer, mainly because of the training and career opportunities it offers.

Tijdens ons leiderschapsevent in december 2024 bracht Thomas Van Eeckhout, CEO van Easi, een  inspirerende keynote over hun unieke bedrijfscultuur. Vanaf het begin hing iedereen aan zijn lippen. Thomas wist perfect de balans te vinden tussen strategische keuzes en concrete, vaak verrassend eenvoudige voorbeelden. Hij toonde op een heel authentieke manier hoe je als organisatie eigenaarschap en verantwoordelijkheid bij medewerkers kan versterken.
