Ignace Van Doorselaere
Ignace Van Doorselaere grew up as the son of an entrepreneur, a background that has shaped his views on culture, customer focus and the power of simplicity. After completing an MBA in the US, he started his career at The Boston Consulting Group, but soon moved to the client side at AB-Inbev (then Interbrew). He led M&A projects for six years, then became Managing Director of AB-Inbev Netherlands for three years, before joining the Group Executive Committee with responsibility for Western Europe.
He then spent 12 years as CEO of Van de Velde and seven years as CEO of Neuhaus. He was also CEO of The Cookware Company for a short time. Ignace is the author of several books and has extensive experience as a member of several boards of directors.
Outside of his business life, Ignace is socially involved as the founder of 'One Child, One Dream', an initiative that provides free consultancy and coaching to non-profit organisations working on child poverty. He has also developed 4F (Flexible Focus, Fair Fight) - a management vision inspired by martial arts metaphors that stands for agility and respect, far from aggression or arrogance.
With his keen insights, no-nonsense style and wealth of practical experience, Ignace continues to inspire and challenge, both in the boardroom and on the stage.
