Peter Berx

Who is Peter Berx?
Peter Berx is half-time master distiller and half-time ‘creative entomologist’. Since childhood, he has been fascinated by insects. His interest lies in applied entomology: biological control, pollination, forensic entomology. Everything within the interface between the world of insects and that of humans. But most of all, he tries to convince people of the beauty and importance of insects. That is why he travels around with the Entomobile and gives insect safaris and workshops. He is a regular panel member of the Nerdland Monthly Review podcast and, together with Lieven Scheire, wrote the book Insects, the flipped life of hexapods and other strange creatures. In his spare time, he likes to go hiking or spend time with his friends.
