Greg Van Avermaet
Who is Greg Van Avermaet?
From 2006 to 2023, he was one of the most consistent riders in the international peloton. He racked up numerous podium finishes in the Flemish spring classics, with his victory in Paris-Roubaix in 2017 being the absolute highlight. However, it is his victory at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro that is etched in the memory of an entire generation. As well as Paris-Roubaix, he won the opening classic, the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, in both 2016 and 2017, as well as the E3 Harelbeke and the Gent–Wevelgem, both in 2017.
Since retiring as a rider, Greg Van Avermaet has become a highly sought-after cycling analyst, with the unique ability to reveal insights that remain invisible to the general public. His story of setting and achieving goals with the right focus is undoubtedly an inspiration to businesses, entrepreneurs and organisations.
As an Olympic champion, he can testify from experience that with the right focus and preparation, even the most unimaginable goal can be achieved.
