  • Training: Persuasive Presenting

How can you learn to deliver convincing presentations and hold your audience's attention for as long as possible?

On this training course, participants will discover how to do just that. They learn that a strong presentation is not only about the content, but also about how it is delivered: in an authentic, relaxed and impactful way.

The workshop begins with creating a powerful opening. Participants learn how an engaging icebreaker can generate immediate interest and curiosity. We then work on structure and timing to ensure that their story remains clear, logical and compelling.

A lot of attention is paid to tailoring the presentation to the target audience, including how to assess their needs and expectations, provide relevant examples, and respond to emotions and questions. We also discuss interaction in detail. Participants will learn how to actively engage their audience and use non-verbal cues to control the energy in the room.

Body language and voice use are important aspects of a convincing presentation. Participants practise posture, breathing, intonation and eye contact so their message is powerful and credible. They also learn how to handle disruptions, from critical questions to distractions, while staying calm, professional and in control.

Finally, we address mindset, helping participants to recognise and change thoughts and beliefs that can make presenting more challenging. This enables participants to stand before their audience with greater confidence, clarity and enjoyment.

After this training, participants will be able to deliver convincing presentations, connect with their audience and handle any situation that arises during a presentation smoothly.

Anik's positive energy and ability to immerse herself in a completely unfamiliar topic to dynamically facilitate a presentation, as well as her ability to put presenters and audience at ease, is remarkable. I recommend her to facilitate your professional debates in French, English or Dutch.

Anik was our symposium moderator. Anik is someone who grabs the audience's attention and welcomes speakers to the stage in a very warm way. Her preparation was excellent, as was her delivery! Her genuine interest in the event was very nice and made for an open and refreshing collaboration.

We worked really well with Anik. She is very enthusiastic, creative, dynamic and motivated. Last year she featured in our videos; this year she was our host for videos and shows. And she did her job admirably. Effective briefing and preparation; her bi-lingual (French/Dutch) show lasted over an hour and was excellent!

Yes, she was there once again! Anik welcomed hundreds of fire fighters at the annual fire brigade conference for the third consecutive year. She was enthusiastic, friendly and well prepared, and introduced the various speakers with perfectly-timed touches of humour. This reassures speakers, because they experience professional support from the very first moment they appear on stage. She is a real tower of strength for organisers when things unexpectedly occur at the last minute: Yes, she can!

For several years, I have worked with Anik to create e-learning videos for pharmacists. She is very professional and her work always meets our expectations.

Anik did a great job MC’ing Taminco’s Award Show. In a short period of time she familiarized herself with our company, our products and our award nominees’ names. (She even expressed herself in Chinese!) This resulted in a very natural way of presenting the show, as if she was part of our company. The entire audience was very enthousiastic about her performance. If the opportunity arises again, we will not hesitate to call on Anik’s presentation skills!
