Who is Mieke Loncke?

Mieke Loncke is a qualified lawyer and holds an Executive MBA. She has been passionate about communication for as long as she can remember. She has always loved performing and initially channelled her passion into various (jazz) bands. However, for the past 20 years, she has dedicated her energy and commitment to the world of business. For instance, as director of the Facility Managers Professional Association, she spent many years presenting Z-Facility on Belgian TV channel Kanaal Z. As spokesperson for the security firm Securitas, she established contacts in the media. She is currently Marketing & Communication director at BDO consultancy. In this position she hosts various talk shows and round tables, as well as presenting (client) events. During such events, Mieke combines her in-depth knowledge with humour and her infectious enthusiasm. As a moderator or presenter, she uses her perfect sense of timing to spontaneously address the issues within debates.

At VIGC, we have had the pleasure of working with Mieke for several years as the host of our annual event Het Congres, the leading event for the graphic arts industry in the Benelux. With her elegant, professional, and warm approach, she consistently guides the event with ease and naturally brings both speakers and audience members into the story.

In addition to hosting, Mieke also moderates interviews and panel discussions. Her thorough preparation, genuine curiosity, and ability to ask the right questions are evident throughout. She has immersed herself in our industry with great enthusiasm and dedication and has a remarkable talent for making complex or technical topics accessible and engaging. As a result, her contributions never feel scripted, but rather spontaneous, insightful, and highly engaged.

For us, Mieke is much more than a host. She has become a familiar and valued face of Het Congres and plays a key role year after year in the quality, dynamism, and overall impact of the event.
