Filip De Rycke
Who is Filip De Rycke?
Filip has been a journalist for more than 20 years, 15 of which as head of news, political analyst and news anchor at BRUZZ, Flemish-Brussels Media. Fully bilingual (Dutch/French), Filip is also a much sought-after Brussels expert with the French-speaking media (LN24, RTBF and BX1). Consequently, he is entirely in touch with the sensitivities that exist on both sides of the linguistic divide. Communication expert and professional presenter, moderator and master of ceremonies, Filip hosts many live/hybrid events for EBP, FPS Public Health, IrisCare, the Brussels Region and BNP Paribas Fortis, among others. With his radio and television experience, you can also rely on Filip to present pod and vodcasts. His boyish curiosity and his no-nonsense approach invariably produce memorable highlights. Filip is also an award-winning documentary maker. In 2007, he won the National Geographic Travel Prize at the Trento Film Festival (It.) with "Swept Away, adrift between Alaska & Siberia". The film tells the story of the late polar explorer Dixie Dansercoer’s expedition to the Bering Srait.
