Anja Daems is a Belgian radio and television presenter. She studied applied communication at PHITC and "elocution and eloquence" at the conservatory in Antwerp.
During her final year of studies, Anja joined Radio 2 as a reporter. There, she later presented Koffers en co and Soes, among others. She then presented Open op zondag, Herexamen and De Notenclub. In 1999, she briefly retired from radio. From 14 October 2007 to 1 July 2022, she presented De Madammen (also to be followed on Eén) on Radio 2 together with Cathérine Vandoorne and Siska Schoeters (formerly Britt Van Marsenille, Leki and Ilse Van Hoecke).
Since autumn 2021, she has presented the music programme Radio2 Hitmix every working day and the Radio2 top2000 quiz on Sunday afternoons. From May 2024, she will swap the latter programme for If the walls could talk, an interview programme at famous Flemish people's homes on Sunday mornings.
