Lotte Kopecky
Who is Lotte Kopecky?
Lotte Kopecky is the leading lady of women’s cycling, excelling both on the track and on the road. The SD Worx-Protime rider is a multiple world champion and one of the most well-rounded riders in the current peloton.
Her list of achievements is almost impossible to compile in full, but she has won no fewer than six world titles on the track and has also claimed the prestigious rainbow jersey twice on the road (in 2023 and 2024). Add to that her victories in classics such as the Tour of Flanders (2022, 2023 and 2025), Paris–Roubaix (2024) and Milan–San Remo (2026), her stage wins in the Tour de France Femmes and the Vuelta a España, and her bronze medal at the Paris Olympics (2024), and it is clear that Lotte Kopecky is an extraordinary athlete.
This world-class champion knows better than anyone what it means to persevere and switch seamlessly between different disciplines and circumstances. Her story of perseverance, courage, resilience, and reinventing herself time and again is particularly inspiring for companies and organisations.
In a conversation with Ine Beyen, herself a former cyclist and a regular co-commentator for women’s cycling on Sporza for several years, she discusses how she goes about this and where she draws the strength to prepare herself for all these different goals. Together, they present a unique and inspiring story about what top-level sport entails, showing that leadership is not just about the bigger picture, but that focusing on the details makes all the difference.
