Who is Katja Schipperheijn?
Life-long learning, and an insatiable drive for innovation, creativity and enterprise, is the common theme in the life and work of Katja. Fascinated by IT, she has spent over 15 years working for international organisations as ‘learning and work’ consultant. In addition, she is a social entrepreneur and is committed to guiding children in this world of rapid change and online media. She has won various international awards with her Edtech start-up and released her first book, Digitale Burgertjes ('young digital citizens’), in 2018.
Katja is a motivated consultant for companies that want to become agile learning organisations. She assists edtech start-ups during the foundation and growth phase. She is a passionate speaker and likes to share her vision about our connected world and the advantages that technology can offer to the general public. As a social entrepreneur, she also advises schools on their processes concerning digital citizenship. But, above all, she is a philanthropist who wants to show that as a society we must work together on our future. As a keynote speaker, she doesn’t shy away from controversy and is an inspiration to learning organisations.
Passion unleashed! Katja is clear, driven and visionary on stage. She has managed to look beyond stereotypes and focuses on reality and the future of digital citizenship. Really enjoyed her presentation!
