Who is Frans Crols?
Frans helped to set up the weekly magazine Trends, was an authority in financial-economic reporting in Flanders and is an advocate of the Flemish movement. For over thirty years, this speaker was perfectly placed to examine the ins and outs of Belgium's industrial sector. This means he possesses the extensive knowledge needed to tell a fascinating story. He is able to share his views with undying passion and persuasion. He is also an experienced moderator, who can successfully oversee all types of debates and interviews.
Frans retired in 2007 and received an honorary award for his long journalism career from minister-president Kris Peeters, in the presence of leading politicians and figureheads from industry. He is still active as chairman of the advisory board at Trends, but also as freelancer for his own magazine and publications such as Neerlandia and the satirical conservative-nationalist magazine ‘t Pallieterke.
