Who is Laurence Van Tongerloo?

Laurence Van Tongerloo is an entrepreneur with a heart for dogs and their health. Nature and animals are her passion. She is the owner of Djoels, Stella and Magnus. You can follow their vision and adventures via @PlanetLolo!

Laurence released the book Candy Dog in 2021. Candy Dog contains 49 recipes for the cutest snacks to lick paws and snout at. Because dog's love goes through the stomach too!

    Heart for dogs

    Laurence Van Tongerloo's mission is to make the planet a little more beautiful. You don't have to have a dog or other pet to have a heart for animals and for nature. 

    With the death of her own dog Odette, four years ago, the idea arose to give something back to animals herself. Her death should not have been in vain. After all, Odette was not just her dog. It was her best friend, her loyal companion, her everything really. Suddenly a mission arose, to give something back to animals and inspire people with it.

    That is why Laurence wrote the book ‘Candy Dog’, a recipe book for healthy and varied food for our dearest four-legged friends. Because taking good care of animals goes hand in hand with making the planet a little greener. This lecture is therefore about respect for animals and nature. Laurence shows us how we can all do our bit. 

    Last summer Laurence's vodcast on HLN online attracted a lot of attention: ‘Famous quadrupeds’. In that vodcast, she talked to Niels Destadsbader, Saartje Vandendriessche, Koen Wauters, Dieter Coppens and ‘De Verhulstjes’, among others. 

    An interactive lecture in which Laurence interacts with the audience and is also open to stories and experiences from everyone.
